About D. L. Harmer
D. L Harmer was founded in 1990 by John and Lela Harmer, parents of Debbie
Larson. At the time they manufactured the "Harmer" oil filler and valve cover
breather.
Debbie Larson worked for a major single cylinder engine manufacturer for over
25 years. Debbie worked in every aspect of the company from detailing
engines, shipping parts, accounting, customer service manager, to Product
Manager of their chemical pump, power take-off, and engine part lines.
She decided to venture out on her own, purchasing "Pumper's Friend"
Radiators of Wichita, KS from Mr. Gene Miller. With that purchase, and joining
with her parents, she formed D. L. Harmer and Company-A Pumper's Friend
operation in September 2005. The company started with 5 employees and
today D.L. Harmer has 15 employees and runs 2 shifts.
D. L. Harmer is located in a quiet, but growing , Mannford Oklahoma. Just 20
minutes west of downtown Tulsa, on Highway 51, D. L. Harmer has daily
access to all major carriers and shipping venues; including UPS, the ABF
Freight System, and the Tulsa Port of Catoosa.
" I feel very fortunate, my husband, my parents, my children are all involved in
D.L. Harmer. We build a quality product. We not only have good customers, we
have good friends. God has looked out for us. We are proud of what we do and
we work hard doing it. We might never become rich and famous, but we've had
a good ride. I wish everyone could have the opportunities we've had."
